Our house sits behind a house on a main road into Melbourne (50mins). We are 20Mins walk or a short drive to Mornington Mainstreet with its' many culinary delights, small coffee shops, take away outlets, pubs and restaurants. We are 200 meters to a large supermarket with a fine butcher and bottle shop attached. Our house is situated at the beginning of the Mornington Peninsula, a most beautiful part of Australia. We enjoy many wineries and their attached restaurants not to mention the many hotels and resorts that are often attached to world class golf clubs, Moonah links, Cape Shank, and many other public courses. For the surfer we are blessed with some of the best, Pt Leo for a great point break or Gunnamatta for a crack at the big boys of surf. For the more sedate, Port Phillip Bay awaits the keen angler or swimmer or just relaxing on the beach. Our house is within 5 mins of one of those beaches. If you were to travel in the opposite direction then Melbourne awaits you with it's multicultural restaurants, casinos, street markets and beautiful bay beaches. To the north of Melbourne is Yarra Valley and it's vast array of wineries and the Dandenong ranges for walks and trekking. If you happen to be here in September then you can attend the greatest game of all "Australian Rules Football" at the famous MCG a spectical to behold. And all of Victoria is within 5 hours drive of Mornington so the choice is yours.

My wife and I are nearing retirement and the children have left the nest, so we have started to travel. My wife has spent the last 15 years as a banker and myself, I worked with the Government and then in the steel industry. We love walking, riding and anything to do with travel, we have travelled extensively throughout Australia and can help in any way with your arrangements out here. We are looking forward to enjoying the cafe culture and fine dining in Italy or Spain or anywhere else in Europe.
