Our home is only 10km away from Launceston city centre (10 minute drive) and is only a two minute walk from the South Esk River. It is a large house with two living rooms, five bedrooms and a large kitchen and meals area. Spacious and clean, you will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It has a small yard with many roses and a view of the surrounding hills from the upper level. Upstairs you will find a massive master bedroom with adjoining bathroom, including a spa bath, plus a second bedroom, second lounge and kitchen area. Downstairs is the main living space and down the corridor you will find the other three bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, kitchen and dining area leading onto our private rear deck.

Located so close to Launceston you will be so busy checking out the amazing cool climate vineyards, 1800's architecture, top restaurants, golf courses, Tasmania Zoo, Cataract Gorge and other local attractions that we hope you still have time to appreciate our little town called Hadspen. Here you will find free tennis courts, the beautiful South Esk River, walking trails, historic buildings and Entally House. Plus you are only a one minute walk from our quiet street to the local shops that include a hairdresser, post office, liquor store and general store! There is a bus service too but we are happy to car swap. In our garage you will find bicycles, golf clubs and tennis racquets. This is the perfect base to explore Tasmania - just about everything is within 1-2 hours drive. If you want to get to Melbourne there are often flights from the local airport from as little as AU$49, Sydney from AU$99! Something about ourselves

Kelly and I (Michael) are both teachers and love to travel! Kelly is originally from Canada and I am from New Zealand but we met here in Australia a few years ago. My 12 y/o son comes to stay in the school holidays and our house has plenty of games, toys and bikes! Tasmania is a perfect spot that the locals keep quiet about so that not too many people move here. We think that everyone should come to this little island paradise and then we can come and explore your corner of the world!
