Our home overlooks beautiful North West Bay, in a very peaceful, safe, semi-rural area only 15 minutes south of Tasmania's capital city Hobart. It has been tastefully renovated to retain it's original charm. Comfortable & clean it is kept warm & cosy in the winter months with underfloor heating, a woodfire & reverse cycle airconditioning. In summer there are also cooling breezes from the bay. In the loungeroom we have a 42inch flat screen digital TV which is connected to our Bose stereo system. Both bedrooms have queen size beds & are carpeted. The bathroom has a large spa bath & separate shower where you can relax with your favourite music(ceiling speaker). The fully equipped kitchen has granite bench tops, big refrigerator with separate freezer, large gas hotplates, European oven & dishwasher. Timber decking extends along the front & side of the house, an ideal place to sit & watch life on the bay with its abundant bird life, boating & occasional dolphins. There is also a sunroom that looks out onto the large established back garden with it's trees & plants attracting many different birds. Our homes are not set up for children.

Margate is a small semi-rural village situated on North West Bay at the top of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel & opposite Bruny Island. It is 15 minutes drive south of Tasmania's capital city Hobart. Renowned for its pristine waters & clean air the popular Huon Trail starts here (go to http://www.huontrail.org.au & http://www.discovertasmania.com for all the information & maps), with excellent restaurants & cafes, picturesque scenery, vineyards, fruit growing & salmon farms, all within an hours drive. Good shopping (supermarkets etc.) is available 10 minutes drive north at Kingston. Something about ourselves

We are Ian & Kerry a recently retired married couple in our late 50s. Ian worked in the medical field for 35 years & Kerry owned a real estate business. We love to travel & have had several holidays in Europe. We also have a newly renovated, fully equipped house at Peregian Beach on Queensland's Sunshine Coast (sunny & warm sub tropical climate)only 15 minutes south of Noosa Heads & 90 minutes north of Brisbane, which could be part of the arrangements.
