Our home is modern, spacious, very comfortable, tastefully decorated with quality furnishings with attention to details to ensure an enjoyable stay. Reverse cycle heating & cooling throughout. Accommodation comprising of: 4 bedrooms, main with King Bed & lrge walk in robe & ensuite, 2 bedrooms have built in wardrobes (1 Queen Bed - 1 Single Bed) and 4th Bedroom used as Den with double Sofa Bed, 2 bathrooms one has a bath(both have showers)plus extra sep w.c, large lounge, formal dining, bar area, family room/casual dining, study, modern kitchen, laundry, double garage, undercover outside entertaining area with BBQ and seating area adjacent to the family room, all situated on one and a half acres of private woodland garden with the permanent Sturt Creek running thru the property, many spots to sit and read and enjoy the tranquility - a very quiet location. An abundance of wildlife i.e: koalas, bandicoots, trout and a wide variety of birdlife. A beautiful peaceful spot but close to all facilities.

We are located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills yet only 20 mins drive from the CBD & equi distance between the villages of Stirling & Blackwood (8kms from each) various other villages are close by including the well known township of Hahndorf. A small local General Store at the top of the road for convenience shopping & petrol. 3 National Parks also Mt.Lofty Botanical Gardens & Mt.Lofty Summit, Heyson Walking Trail, A choice of Golf Courses and Tennis Court are local & numerous well known Wineries are only a short distance away, we also have many local weekend markets in the area. We are spoilt in regards to choice of dining, casual to silver service.Various pristine beaches are approx half hour drive away.The well known areas of the Barossa & McLaren Vale - a lovely days outing with many beautiful Wineries to visit or just enjoy the view from a Hot Air Balloon. Take a cruise on an old fashioned Paddle Steamer and enjoy your lunch whilst navigating the Murray River. Kangaroo Island only a short Ferry ride away. The picturesque township of Victor Harbor & surrounding areas only an hour away - a really great day out. We enjoy a Mediterranean type climate. Adelaide itself is surrounded by Parklands & our Zoo which is now the home to the delightful Pandas. We are a married couple, Derek & Lynne with a son and daughter, both married and living in Adelaide. Derek is retired and Lynne involved part time in a small family business. We prefer to exchange with couples only as our property is unsuitable for children. A vehicle is essential as the nearest bus stop is a kilometre away. We have enjoyed 8 previous exchanges in Australia and Overseas. We are aware that others are attached to their home as we are to ours - we will treat your home with care & respect. We are happy to consider all offers and we are flexible regarding time frame and we will ANSWER ALL ENQUIRIES.
