Description of our house
Our home is situated only 50 meters from the beautiful beaches of the Sunshine Coast. It has been redecorated and is in perect condition. There are two master bedrooms each with their own queen size beds and two other bedrooms with 3/4 size beds. Master bedroom has an ensuite. There is an outside entertaing deck with BBQ and beautiful oustide dining area. It is lowset and would suit elderly couples as well as the young at heart. There is a large screen TV (42 inches) as well as a smaller TV out on the entertaining deck. There is a study with internet facilities, a large kitchen as well as a family room. WILL ALSO CONSIDER LONG TERM EXCHANGE FOR 3 - 6 MONTHS

Our neighborhoodThe Sunshine Coast is a beautiful stretch of white soft sandy beaches that start at Caloundra in the south and finish at Noosa in the north a distance of some 60 Kilometers. Mudjimba is located approximately 50 miles north of Briabnae which is the capital of Queensland. Our home is situated in the middle of the Sunshine Coast with a year long patrolled beach at the end of the street. Australia Zoo (The Crocodile Man) is a 30 minute drive south and the world heritage listed Fraser Island is about 2 hours north. It is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. We have an airport very handy that will allow direct and easy connections to anywhere in Australia (and some destinations in New Zealand) on our newly established budget airlines. The favourable exchange rate would afford quick and hassle free travel to any part of Australia for a few days here and there. The famous Noosa Beach is less then 20 minutes north. The hinterland village towns in the Malany Ranges are also only 30 minutes to the west. Many national parks with fresh clear and cool rivers and waterfalls are very close for when a break from the beach is required. There are many golf courses both public, and resort courses (all available to the public nearby). The Australian PGA is held at the Hyatt Coolum that is less then 5 minutes to the north. WE WILL CONSIDER A LONG TERM EXCHANGE TO MOST DESYINATIONS IN THE GREATER EUROPE/UNITED KINGDOM.

Something about ourselvesWe have been happily married for 34 years and our two daughters have reached adult hood and are scattered around the world making their own marks. After all these years of raising a family we have decided that it was now our time to go out and experience some of what the world has to offer. I am a retired teacher and my wife is in administration at a local private educational institution. I do volunteer work with our RSL Care (Returned Services League). It is an organisation that assists the elderly war veterans and their spouses in transportation, shopping etc.
We have also lived overseas for 3 years throughout the Pacific Ocean and have also conducted 8 previous exchanges in Europe, UK and most recently to the USA. We would be happy to provide references if required. We would treat the home of our exchange partners as if it was our own. We look forward to making contact with our exchange friends soon.
