Our home is a large renovated traditional queenslander home spead over two levels. The upper level containes three bedrooms and kichen/family/dining room which all open onto wrap around verandahs. The kitchen overlooks a family/dining area which is the center of our household which also opens out to a large covered rear deck containing a BBQ and outside entertaining area.

Our neighborhood
Our home is centrally located in suburban Wooloowin (5 km north of city center). Points of interest from our home are:- Something about ourselves
We are Allen and Luisa, a married couple in our mid forties with two children (13 year old Danielle and 11 year old Michael). We are both professionals (Engineer and Doctor) and enjoyed international travel prior to starting our family. Danielle and Michael are now at an age where we would like to expose them to other countries and cultures. We live in Brisbane an have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country. We are restricted to holidaying in schools holidays as noted in the dates but would be happy to work on a non simultaneous basis. We enjoy most getting out and experiencing the local scenery and culture first hand. Our preferred holiday time is Xmas and our perfect Xmas house swap would be either somewhere near snow (northern hemisphere) or somewhere adventurous (southern hemisphere).  = marks the location of this home
