The 82sqm modern apartment is on the ground floor under our main house. It is newly renovated and has two large bedrooms each with an ensuite, large lounge and dining room and full kitchen. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other two singles which can be joined to make a king size. An additional bed is possible. There is a large flat screen TV with cable connection as well as wireless broadband internet.

Ideally located within walking distance of the centre of Brisbane. Brisbane is a very vibrant city offering much to do. We are also located just an hour by car (or public transport) from the beaches at the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. There is a frequent city bus service immediately outside our house and a river ferry service 6 minutes walk to the nearby Brisbane River. English classes are offered at nearby Shaftston College which is a 600 metres walk. A shopping centre with supermarket, pharmacy, post office, liquor off-licence, bakery and newsagency are just over 100 metres walk. Something about ourselves

Kay and Laurie are both in our early 60s and are retired school teachers. We have travelled extensively, love meeting people and are experienced home exchangers (10). Because our apartment is only available for exchanging we are very flexible and are very happy to offer non-simultaneous exchanges. We are also very happy to provide information and advice on obtaining the most from a visit to Brisbane and the surrounds. Our daughter and family including three young grandchildren live in the next street and can also provide assistance.
