My home is a 4BR family home overlooking the Coral Sea. It is situate on Magnetic island, which is an island suburb of Townsville (pop.250,000) in North Queensland. The island is a government initiative solar island and boasts the best climate in Australia with 320 days of sunshine a year. 90% of the island is national park, with extensive walking tracks, 23 beaches, of which only 7 can be accessed by road - the others by boat, canoe or jetski. Most services are available on Magnetic Island, supermarkets, hotels, medical, trades etc.

There are sensational sea views from the living rooms and bedroom, or you can relax under the palm trees on the rocky cliff behind my home, as you sip on an ice-cold beer as you watch ships pass by the island. Swimming and water activities are available all year round thanks to the perfect climate.

You will be in my home within an hour of landing in Townsville, as it is well serviced by ferrys and taxis. Townsville is a vibrant and exciting ultra modern tropical city. This island holiday is perfect for those like peace, solitude and privacy in serene environment while at the same time living on one of the prettiest islands on the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Spend some time yachting out to the reef, or stay an extra week and travel the great outback, as we are on the doorstep of the legendary Australian outback.
