Our house is a 2 split level home with a double lockup garage, and pool. The house consists of 3 bedrooms upstairs(master bedroom with king size bed, 2 bedrooms with king single beds), open living area study and a sunroom. The sunroom leads to the garden, deck and pool area with an undercover dining and barbeque area. There are 2 bathrooms upstairs. One an ensuite, the other can be also accessed via the pool area.
The lower level consists of 3 bedrooms (1 queen size bed, second single bed), reception room/living room and a large bathroom. This part of the house overlooks the goldfish pond and the front entrance.
Our family in general uses the upstairs part of the house. The lower level is ideal for visitors, au pair, for private/quiet time.

We are a family of four with two young children, 5 and 7 years old. Our children love living close to the beach and enjoy having the pool. We also have family pass to the Underwater World at Mooloolaba. This is a good place to visit with very young children on a rainy day. Another family favorite are visits to Australia Zoo located 25 min drive in Beerwah. Our house is set up for young kids with toys and bikes at hand. If you are after some more sophisticated activities you can find all in Brisbane located 70 min drive South. There are lots of free activities for children and grownups at South Bank.
Visit to our home would include looking after our cat, she is very reclusive and you are not likely to see her. She only mingles with the family and never any visitors. We keep her food and drink in the downstairs garage. We have a Siamese fish that only needs small amount of fish food every day and our gold fish at our fishpond that kids enjoy feeding as well.
