Spacious open plan Santa Fe style home with pool and undercover deck for outdoor entertaining plus bbq. There are tropical garden areas all around the house, with an asian influenced garden, with flowing stream outside the master bedroom. The master and main guest bedrooms are both individually airconditioned, and the rest of the rooms all have ceiling fans. There is also a large, secluded lawn at the rear of the house. We are 5 minutes drive from shops and beaches. There is a permanent gardener who comes in regularly and the pool is also taken care of by a pool maintenance company. We love our beautiful, private retreat and if this sounds like your sort of home away from home, we think you'll love it too!

Noosa is a wonderful, relaxed holiday destination, reknowned for it's natural beauty. It has beaches to please everyone from safe, calm waters for kids, to exhilarating surf beaches for the more adventurous. There are great restaurants and fine dining on Hastings Street, or more relaxed locations on the Noosa River at Gympie Terrace. There are national parks for walking/trekking and Fraser Island, the world's largest sand island, for 4x4 off road beach driving. Wonderful fishing and water sports of every description. A local farmers market is held only 5 minutes walk from the house every Sunday morning, and the famous Eumundi Markets are only 35 minutes drive away. Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo is only 40 minutes away, or if you feel like a bit of mountain air, make your way up to Maleny or Montville and experience the beautiful views of the coastline, or browse the quaint shops. You can fly into Brisbane which is 11/2 hours drive from Noosa, or into Maroochydore (Sunshine Coast Airport) which is only 35 minutes away. The climate here is wonderful - summer temperatures range roughly between 25C-35C and the winter temperatures range between 18C - 24C with lots of sunshine during the day, but cool/cold at night, dropping to about 10C. We are John & Heather and we're a semi-retired couple in our 50's/60's, and we moved to Noosa about 5 years ago from Manly in Sydney. I am originally from London and John from Brisbane. We have both travelled extensively, and also both lived in various countries around the world, but want to travel a lot more, now that we have the time and freedom to do so.
