A very livable semi-tropical Queenslander type house with three good size bedrooms and study airconditioned living ares. There are three bathrooms and a modern well equipped kitchen. Wrap-around verandahs across the front with a sun patio and swimming pool at rear. The house is set in a green and pleasant garden. A car is available for a reciprocal swap.

This is a quiet outer suburban area with the occasional kangaroo and koala sighted in the park opposite. We are 27 km north of Brisbane fairly close to the north/south motorway [M1]. One hour to the Sunshine Coast north and 1.5 hours to the Gold Coast south. 30 mins to Brisbane Int. airport. 10 mins by car to the station to take the train to Brisbane CBD,Art gallery,museum shopping etc 30 mins to Australia Zoo [the late Steve Irwin] 15 mins to Alma Park Zoo. 20 mins to the calm water beaches of Redcliffe with sea food and cafes, pubs etc. We are 5 minutes to a large shopping mall,library and taverns. 10 minutes to a lovely golf club and 30 mins to mountain areas 1000 metres elevation. Marilyn and David are a semi retired couple in their sixties who are house conscious and respectful of others, careful drivers and interested travellers. A successful previous exchange. We have family and friends in UK and enjoy visiting. Both have UK ancestry and visiting UK is like coming home.
