Description of our house
Our guest apartment is brand new(only completed 12 months ago) and is on the top floor of our home. It's light and airy and in a very quiet residential street. You will have exclusive use of the property during your stay. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a second bedroom with two single beds.If needed we can add extra beds, there's plenty of room. There is also a kitchenette, lounge and dining area and a modern shower room with seperate toilet. Downstairs is a comfortable library/office ideal for a quiet afternoon reading or communicating with home on the laptop supplied for your use, with high speed internet. There's a large flat screen TV and a selection of DVD's including foreign language films for your entertainment. We have a large outdoor living area with a very private pool and undercover entertaining area.The whole property is security fenced. We have multi-lingual neighbours if you need any assistance. The only intrusion into your privacy will be the occassional visit of our gardner and poolman. If you need a housemaid we can supply you with the details of people we would recommend.

Our neighborhoodNoosa is one of Australia's most prestigous beach resorts, a mecca for celebrities from all over the world. It is famous for it's fine cuisine, sophisticated shopping and it's stunning natural features including a famous national park with beautiful beaches, amazing wildlife and all within a few minutes walk of our home. Richard Branson of Virgin fame has often been seen holidaying in our street, which only consists of about 20 houses. We have 2 kayaks which you will be able to use to explore some of the lovely waterways at your doorstep. Two bikes will also be available for your enjoyment on the many bikepaths in our area. The home is only a five minute walk from the excitement of Hastings Street famous for its fine food and shopping. It is also only five minutes walk to one of Australia's most beautiful beaches. Noosa is impeccably located in ralation to climate with a very mild winter, you are able to swim all year round. Good public transport is within meters of our home. Access to the airports in either Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast is easy. You will rarely need a car as everything is within easy walking distance.

Something about ourselvesWe are a non-smoking retired couple in our early 50's. We ran our own business for 30 years and took an early retirement when the opportunity arose. We are a very houseproud couple and would treat your home with the same respect as our own. We have spent the last 6 years travelling the world and this is the first time we have ventured into house swapping.
