Description of our house

We live in a sunny 2 bedroom apartment right on the beach. Great Ocean and garden views from the Dinning/Lounge and main bedroom. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom with a bath & separate shower. Open the sliding glass doors and sit outside to watch the waves or the occasional Whales passing by. Modern fittings and appliances yet a home away from home. The lounge room has 2 reading chairs, a large Black Italian leather sofa accompanied by a huge Plasma TV. If looking at the view isn't enough then there are other Plasma TVs in both bedrooms and a library of books to take to read around the pool or at the beach. The dinning table caters for 6 and there is outdoor BBQ and a setting for 4 people on the balcony with great ocean views. On the other side of the balcony, outside the main Bedroom over looking the beach and garden there is a breakfast setting for 2. We have picnic accessories as well as beach chairs,beach towels and 2 mountain bikes for your use. Also Hi speed internet & wifii throughout the apartment.

Our Apartment is ideally located for everything you could imagine for the ideal beach stay. Be it bike riding, or rock, beach or river fishing, Kite, or board surfing, or just relaxing and long beach walks on beautiful easy sand. If relaxing is the last thing on your mind we have a National Park Headland just a 10 minute walk up the beach. Or there is the beautiful Hinterland and many walking tracks to explore. If it's fine or just casual dining you like to do, then the Gold Coast restaurants are just so numerous one couldn't explore them all in a lifetime. There are many Surf Clubs/pubs, cafes with two just 500 metres either side along the beach and near by 4 great eating places within a 10 mins walk. For the children or big kids at heart, there are 3 huge Theme Parks, Movie World, Dream World, and Sea World are only 25 minutes drive, and all are worth a visit. Brisbane City is an easy 1 hour drive. All this yet the beach is not a busy one. We are 15/20 mins from the main towns of Broadbeach and Surfer's Paradise yet only 12 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport at Coolongatta. The main bus route goes right pass the door making public transport an easy way to go. Something about ourselves

My name is David and my wife Diane. We have lived on the Gold Coast for nearly six years and love it. Although I am retired, we have a few properties, and a Property Management business which luckily I only have to over see. My wife is kept busy with the rentals of our holiday properties, which is all done from a lap top and iphone. So we are both lucky to be able to travel anytime which is our hobby. We are Non Smokers, and house proud people and would definitely ask for the same, so needless to say that we would look after your house like our own. We have had 5 previous exchanges and were all very successful.
