Our home is modern, spacious & airy.It has four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms & backs onto a park which takes you via picturesque boardwalks to an endless unpolluted surf beach. It is very comfortable & low maintenance with a swimming pool & outdoor entertaining (or just relaxing)area. Close to 3 excellent golf courses

The house is situated in a small, residential, beachside enclave. You can walk to 2 restaurants, a surf club (has it's own restaurant) & a convenience store. Local town of Coolum is 5 minutes drive away with all the essentials, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, shops. Twenty mins away, Maroochydore is to the south, Noosa to the north. Brisbane, a large city,is just 130 kms easy drive & the Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise)home of the theme parks, only 2hours drive. Lots of things to do...visit Australia Zoo (made famous by the late Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter), go whale watching, wineries, hiking, galleries, markets, fishing, diving, swimming, surfing, shopping, golfing (close to Hyatt, home of the PGA, borrow our set of clubs).....A modern seaside area where you can relax & do nothing or visit somewhere new everyday. Lots of walking & bike paths & the domestic airport 5 mins drive. Something about ourselves

We are Glenys & Bruce, sixties, semi retired with a grown (& left home) family. We enjoy the beach, walking, dining & wining,travel, meeting people of all cultures & Bruce is very keen on sport, mainly cricket & rugby union. We both love to travel & meet people, and have done several successful home exchanges. (Santa Barbara, France x 5, Canada, New York, Lithuania, NZ, Australia). We also have a small, fluffy, independent dog who sometimes stays for exchanges but who can have a holiday himself, if you are not doggy people. We are happy to do exchanges in Australia..weekends, inner city Brisbane, Gold Coast, or Melbourne or environs for other times as we have a son living there. NZ we would like to visit to 'do' the wine areas, Flexible, but not NZ winter, please. Always happy to travel to Europe, or perhaps Hawaii...your suggestions, please. Dates are flexible. We often travel with another couple similar age to us & have done several successful home exchanges...it's a great way to travel.
