We are seeking a NON SIMULTANEOUS EXCHANGES only please.

Our preferred time of travel to the northern hemisphere is September/October or possibly the last week in August, but no earlier. For the next few years, we do not wish to travel to Europe in June/July or August, but you are welcome to come to our home at that time, provided you can offer a non-simultaneous exchange for us in a future year.

Welcome to our new penthouse. Our home is quiet, fresh and light. We have 3 large bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 6 persons ( either 3 couples; or 2 couples and two singles). Off the main bedroom (ensuite bathroom) on the 8th floor is a 70 sqm terrace facing directly into the best aspect in Queensland - the northeast. This terrace is totally private and extremely spacious. It has an alfresco kitchen so you can "live" here and not go downstairs to the main kitchen. On level 7 are 2 bedrooms, ensuite bathroom, kitchen and living area.

Our spacious apartment is perfectly located for a quick trip into Brisbane by bus and exciting South Bank with its theatres, playhouses,markets and restaurants.

On the northside of the city we are in reasonable proximity to the Sunshine Coast by car.

The Gold Coast with its myriad of attractions is also an hour away by motorway to the south.

We have hundreds specialty shops in the immediate vicinity (Chermside has reputedly the second largest shopping complex in Australia) - perfect for that cup of coffee or a quiet glass of wine, a great meal - or just shopping to your heart's content. http://www.ourbrisbane.com

Hi we are Denise and Terry. We are in our mid 50s - Terry is still working which limits our opportunities for extensive overseas travel. We have had many exchanges around the world and love travelling.

Our children are all adults and none travel with us, so there is only the two of us. We might meet up with friends while we are overseas whom we would like to welcome for the occasional overnight or weekend stay. We extend the same arrangement to you should you wish to have friends or family join you.

We are clean and tidy, and we are non smokers. We expect that our home exchange friends are of the same mind. We don't mind pet sitting for cats and dogs, and are pretty handy with some farm animals as well.
