We have a beautifully renovated Art Deco style home in Taringa, a suburb close to the city centre but also close to quiet bush area. Our home has 3 level with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 3 separate living/rumpus areas. We have a pool and a very private deck- perfect for relaxing and enjoying a BBQ. Our home has beautiful views over the suburbs and to the city. Our home is decorated with both antiques, period pieces and modern items. It also has ducted air conditioning. Our kitchen is modern and great to use for those keen chefs! We also have a separate butlers work room.

Taringa is a well established leafy area with many beautiful period homes. It is close to the city (5km) but also close to the beautiful bush areas of Mt Cootha. There are many transport options from our home with a bus just outside the door. Not too far away is a wide selection of shops and restaurants. Brisbane is a beautiful, tropical city with many excellent parks, walkways, shops restaurants and theatres. From Brisbane, you can explore the natural environment of South East Qld. The beautiful beaches are about 45 min drive, the mountains about an hour. Something about ourselves

We are a couple who have 2 boys, 19 and 17. I am a teacher and Paul is an electrician. We both love to renovate old houses and pieces of furniture. We have travelled using house swaps to France, Germany, UK and Switzerland where we have enjoyed skiing. We would love to try the slopes of Canada and the US or spend some time in France
