Description of our house
Our home is a very large one bedroom apartment in a charming Arts and Crafts building overlooking Coogee Beach in Sydney. Coogee Beach is considered a city beach and is 20 minutes by bus to the centre of Sydney. There are rock pools right in front of the apartment where you can swim and do a spot of snorkeling... the rock pool sometimes has schools of beautiful fish swept in with the tide. There is a lovely coastal walk that meanders along the coast to Bondi Beach to the north and Maroubra to the south. It is a very large one bedroom (originally it was a 2 bedroom flat, but the second bedroom is now a study) with a large kitchen and dining room overlooking the beach. It is a garden flat and the study overlooks the garden.

Our neighborhoodCoogee Beach is one of the prettiest of the city beaches. It is nestled in a small bay with the main beach being a very popular place for swimming and surfing - and there are several seaside rockpools, which are unique to Sydney, where you can swim with the fishes and snorkel. It has many local restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the apartment - serving a variety of different cuisines, like Thai, Vietnamese, Italian and Turkish. It has a very holiday atmoshphere, especially in summer (December - February) and there are also many pubs and other nightlife places.

Something about ourselvesWe are a couple with no children. We both work in the media arts/academic area. We have a cat, but she won't be here during your stay. We are in our 40's-50's and are very responsible and of course would take very good care of your home. We could also provide references from a previous exchange.
