Our apartment is part of an award winning riverside housing development. It is modern with all the features you would expect in a state of the art home. It is our prime residence.
The development includes a country club where you can access 5 tennis courts, heated outdoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, gymnasium and cafe facilities in a beautiful lounge area on the top floor with superb views of the river and the Sydney skyline. We also have a 2 bedroom apartment in Forster on the mid-north coast of NSW which could be part of the exchange. We do not exchange either property over the Christmas and the January holiday period. We have a Honda Civic which also could be part of the exchange.

The estate is set in beautiful gardens, has a 1.6 km riverside walk and is adjacent to a large area of parklands. It is not a gated community but it is very private area with excellent security. The community is very close and we organise frequent social activities. Local restaurants, a supermarket, doctor, health services and a pub are a short walk from the apartment.The nearby suburb has a strong Italian flavour with excellent restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets. Our previous houseswappers have loved the ease of access to the city. We are a pleasant 5 minute walk to the ferry wharf and then 30 minutes by rivercat to the city. Regular local buses also go to the city and nearby suburbs. Our immediate neighbours are wonderful and our daughter and family live 5 minutes away and are able to assist in any way.

We are retired school principals and enjoy travel. We have had many exchanges, all of which have been very successful. Because two of our adult children and grandchildren live permanently in UK (London and Edinburgh) we visit every year and we are always interested in exchanges anywhere in Europe or UK. We usually visit between May and August, but we have sometimes been able to arrange non-simultaneous exchanges.
In 2013 we intend to go to UK and Europe via Canada and US from May to August- so we are very open to suggestions!
We would really also love to do an Australian exchange either in the earlier or latter part of the year.
