Within 7 hours drive from Sydney and 6 hours from Brisbane. Coffs Harbour is a city of 70,000 people with airport and rail transport.
To the north of Coffs Harbour coastal centres such as Yamba, Ballina, Byron Bay and the Gold Coast have great surfing beaches and outstanding scenery along the coast.
To the south centres such as Kempsey Port Macquarie, Taree and Newcastle are well worth a visit.
Inland centres Dorrigo, Armidale and Tamworth are our rural centres and only a few hours away.
Coffs Harbour is well known for growing bananas, blue berries, and avocados and boasts of a safe harbour, Marina and Fishing fleet.
Golf can be played on a 27 hole course in Coffs Harbour, with Bonville International Golf course just 20 minutes by car from the centre. Woogoolga, Sawtell and Bellingen also have golf courses.

I'm in my mid seventies and travel with a friend on ventures around Australia by caravan. We hope to now travel overseas on 'home for exchange' in New Zealand, or Europe.
Having travelled in Italy and England 35 years ago I still have the desire to re- visit these countries and would consider other countries in Europe.
I'm a retired builder and can appreciate the skills of masters craftsmen in the earlier centuries.
My home is very clean, comfortable and furnished with space for casual living in mind, on a level site 2km from Coffs Harbour CBD.
We are first time Home for Exchange travellers and look forward to visiting other countries and enjoying the life styles without the accommodation costs.
