Mossy Point is at the mouth of the Tomaga River. Hire a glass bottom kayak at Mossy Point Boat Ramp and discover the underwater treasures in the Batemans Marine Park or eat at The Muffin Shop which serves a variety of food & a great coffee during the day.
In Batemans Bay (20 kms north) & Moruya (15 kms south) are golf courses & bowling clubs. Batemans Bay is the larger of the towns & caters more for the tourist in the way of cinemas, theatre, a wide selection of restaurants, mini golf, fishing & river tours. In Moruya, Markets are held each Saturday morning on the banks of the Moruya River. There one can find local produce & large variety of stores.
South Broulee Beach is patrolled by Broulee Surf Club through summer and offers great surf from the long sandy beach. A village atmosphere makes it easy to holiday with food shops, cafes, art gallery, surf shop, massage clinic and much more within walking distance.
The crystal clear waters of Broulee and the Batemans Marine Park are great for swimming, surfing, snokelling and kayaking. Candlagan Creek offers calm water and shallow playpools ideal for families.
Broulee has great surf schools, teaching people their way around a surf board and a break. On the northern side of Broulee Island you'll find Pink Rocks - a well known surfing hang out - quite possibly the best in the region.
