We never tire of the view from our house through gum trees to the bay below. It is a one minute walk to the bay beach and a 5 minute stroll to the surf beach and pools. With arguably one of the most spectacular coastal walks in Australia.
Our brand new bathroom has every luxury and the modern kitchen has all amenities. The bright sunny lounge dining room opens onto a wide balcony with a bar-b-que overlooking the 180 degree views.
One bedroom has a queen bed. The other has a queen bed and sofa bed with innerspring mattresse, TV and DVD.
A large fenced and sunny back yard is best viewed from the colourful hammock slung between the gums.
Our home is divided into two self contained units. My husband and I have taken over downstairs which was previously our (now grown) teenagers retreat. Whilst we are often on site for information or assistance you will not otherwise by aware we are there.

Cronulla has 5 long sandy surf beaches many rock swimming pools, and the beautiful Gunnamatta Bay with additional beaches and pools. A short ferry ride across the bay and river lead to Bundeena and the Royal National Park (15,000 hectares) with an abundance of coastal and heathland walking trails and many miles of coastline littered with yet more beaches.
Our suburb is one hour by train to Sydney CBD or 40 minutes by car, making it just far enough for serenity but close enough for all the excitement Sydney is known for.
There is over 100 restaurants and cafes in the area (just a 15 minute promenade walk away). Al fresco dining is popular with the pleasant climate.
Two Golf Courses (one private)

My husband Barry and I have both recently retired, we have two grown children and 5 beautiful granddaughters. Family and friends always come first with us, our shared passion is travel, which we have done a lot of, both nationally and internationally, this, however, is our first home exchange experience.
Barry and I love sailing. golfing and swimming. Dining out with and exploring with friends being a favourite pastime.
Whilst we welcome you to our home your privacy is vitally important to us.
If possible we will assist you in any way. i.e. meeting you at airport and assisting with travel ideas, and local knowledge.
