The top floor of our two story home consists of the living, dining and kitchen area which is all open plan. The main bedroom, ensuite and walk in robe plus a powder room complete the area. Access to the full length decking is from the living and dining area. Large glass sliding doors allow lovely views across the green rolling hills with distant views to the ocean. Downstairs has three bedrooms, a family room, bathroom, laundry and access to to the full length decking is from the family room. This leads down a few steps, to the swimming pool. We moved to the Gold Coast after retirement and absolutely love living here.

Our home is set high on a ridge line with sweeping views as you drive down to the beautiful golden beaches of the Gold Coast, these are a 15/20 minute drive. Lovely long walks on the beach are a real joy. Good surfing is enjoyed and the pleasant Tweed River gives plenty of outdoor activity. There is sailing, fishing and many golf clubs with good eating areas. Large shopping malls are 15 and 30 minutes drive and the large city of Brisbane is 1-1/2 hours drive. Theme parks are 35 minutes. Picturesque drives up into the Hinterland give spectacular views back to the coast. In the little towns are many craft shops and good cafes and restaurants. As this is a subtropical area, there is much greenery and also rainforest areas to enjoy. Something about ourselves

My husband and I retired six years ago and have enjoyed travelling and are looking forward to returning to some of the delightful places we have visited. We are fit and healthy and enjoy a busy lifestyle with outings with our many lovely friends. We also love to relax with a good book. We have 16 grandchildren and it's quite an interesting time when we all get together! I enjoy ballet, music, reading and travelling. My husband likes most sports, politics, reading and a good discussion.
