Description of our house
Our three bedroom home has ocean views and a 3 minute drive to the beach. Our home is set in the escarpment (the bush) and backs on to a reserve, we have a large balcony at the back to take in the great views. This over looks our very private fenced backyard with views of the bush and escarpment. Our home is very light and spacious. We have an open plan kitchen dining and living area at the back of the house. This area also has a toy/play area for the kids and includes the computer area. One bathroom upstairs and a second toilet down stairs near the laundry. We also have a large outdoor entertaining area with BBQ. Under the house is a large area for kids to ride bikes, play basketball, cricket or handball - its like an undercover outdoor play area (great in case of rain). Having the two kids means the house is very practical and child friendly and the bikes, trampoline, slip and slide etc are all included in the exchange. Theres another living area at the front of the house with it's own TV. This room has ocean views. One bedroom is at the back of the house and the other two are at the front. Very peaceful location but close to everything. The yards and gardens are very low maintained. Will get photos on line in the next week.

We are a 3 minute drive to the beach. a 2 minute drive to local shops which includes supermarkets, bars and great casual restaurants. Walking there is about 10 minutes but longer to get back up due to hills!!!! We also have local gyms and clubs located in Woonona itself. Sandon point is a world renowned surf break and just 5 minutes away. Wollongong is the nearest larger town and just 15 minutes drive away - includes cinema complex and fantastic live theatre venue along with more shopping options. Woonona has it's own train station and it's about 1 1/2 hours trip in to the centre of Sydney - a truly spectacular train trip. Driving is quicker when it's not a weekday or peak hour - takes about 1 hour. We are about 30 minutes south of the Sutherland Shire. Located in the escarpment means there are some great hiking/bushwalking opportunities along with mountain biking. There's also a great bike track that runs all the way into Wollongong itself along the beach. We have great neighbours and live in a well established area.
Something about ourselves
We are a married couple, I'm 47 and Greg is 49 with a 12 yr old son and 10 yr old daughter. Our kids are well behaved and respectful of others property. We both work for the state government. I'm a Social Worker/Lawyer and Greg works in Admin. We love travelling. We're looking to exchange during 2014 in a large block or blocks. We have completed our first exchange last year. We are looking at options from a few weeks up to 2 months exchange. While we may only use your property for a month or so you possibly could use our longer. We'd love to establish a email relationship with exchangers as soon as possible to make the exchange process as smooth as possible. We have great neighbours to assist in the exchange process. We're keen to have access to a car in the exchange and have two cars here for you to use.
