Description of our house

Our home is a large family home. There are 3 bedrooms and a separate study, the main bedroom has an en suite bathroom while the other two bedrooms have access to another bathroom and toilet. There is also a separate very large guest room which has its own toilet and kitchenette. The kitchen and dining area are large and the lounge room is bright and comfortable. The outdoor living area faces north and makes the most of the winter sun and provides shade in the summer. We have a large grassed area which is great for the kids to enjoy, a vegetable garden, fruit trees and chickens who supply beautiful eggs. Our neighbours are available to take care of the garden and chickens if necessary.

This is a semi rural area where most of the houses are on several acres. There are also dairy farms dotted around the area while fresh strawberries are available from the farm down the road. You will wake to the sound of birds and regularly spot the wallabies grazing in the back paddock. We are central to the city of Newcastle (40 min drive), the wineries of the Hunter Valley (30 min drive) a choice of beaches (30 to 40 min drive) and Sydney is accessible by train (2.5 hrs). Our family consists of David,50 a helicopter engineer, Sue, 48 a primary school teacher and two children, Jack, 15 and Samantha, 11. David and I travelled alot before we had children and we would now like to introduce our children to other countries and cultures.
