Description of our house

Our house is a refurbished, North facing, 100-year-old Californian bungalow in an established private garden. The main bedroom opens onto the covered verandah, the lounge has an open fireplace and there is an adjoining dining room and kitchen leading onto a large deck.

Leura is a garden township in the Blue Mountains National Park (http://www.bluemts.com.au 90 kms West of Sydney. At 1000 metres above sea level, and accessed in two hours by train and one and a half hours by a major highway, it is the perfect base from which to explore both the Park itself as well as both Sydney and the food and wine regions of the Central Tablelands. We are a working 60 yr old couple with flexible holiday arrangements . We are interested in swapping for short breaks in Sydney, to see the children, and the mid North and South coasts, to see the sea. Anywhere in Australia also for longer breaks. Overseas exchanges in 2013.
