Our home is extremely well-located, and very comfortable, with central heating throughout, and aircon in two bedrooms and the living room. The house is situated on a 445 sq.m. (4,800 sq. ft.) block. It was built around 1910, but has a modern, stylish interior. It has 4 double bedrooms, 3 of which are downstairs. The upstairs master bedroom has windows on 4 sides and a brand new marble en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower. We also have a separate living/dining room, a well-equipped kitchen and an open plan family room off the kitchen which flows out through bifold doors onto private vergola-protected sundeck looking out onto a small, private back garden. (A vergola is a louvred roof which opens and closes automatically when it rains/the sun comes back out. It provides shade when required, and can be fully opened to suit the conditions).

Mosman is a well-to-do inner city suburb of Sydney with excellent local shopping facilities and frequent ferry and bus service to the City, with all it's attractions. The suburb is situated on the scenic Sydney Harbour, and has its own resort-type beaches, with good access also to the Pacific Ocean beaches, Manly being only a 15 minute drive. We are Susan and Richard, respectively a university tutor and a retired businessman. We have 6 adult chidren between us, two in the UK (with grandchildren), and the others in Australia. We enjoy eating out, the cinema, theatre, reading and outdoor activities, mainly walking. We wish to travel to see family and enjoy new places, and to meet people in a way which is just not possible staying in hotels, or joining tours. We particularly enjoy walking holidays. We have now completed 3 very successful house swaps.
