Description of our house
Our house is a 1926 built house with a 2006 renovation and extension. The 'old' part houses the master bedroom with walk-in robe and ensuite as well as a very comfortable TV/sitting room witha 50" HD plasma screen.
The 'new' part of the house has two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and then downstairs another bathroom and the pavilion that leads to a BBQ deck and onto the kitchen dining and living areas. The kitchen is great if you like cooking with induction stove tops, steam oven and all the possible equipment you could wish for.
The back deck looks out onto the grassy back yard and the creek next door.
It is a great very relaxing house to be in and is very quiet but in a very convenient location.

Our neighborhoodLindfield is on Sydney's mid North Shore. It's a suburban area with fantastic bush walks to the Middle harbour, and also convenient to shopping, cinemas, restaurants, stunning beaches are 20 minutes drive away and you can alo easily get to the harbour swimming pools.
We are only a 20 minute train ride to the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and city centre. It is 25 mnutes to Taronga Zoo - with unique Australian wildlife. Public Transport in the area is excellent with buses and trains nearby. We are also centrally located for visiting many popular tourist areas. The World Heritage listed Blue Mountains are an easy 2 hour drive, the famous Hunter Valley and its vineyards can be reached in 90 minutes and the picturesque villages of the Southern Highlands in 90 minutes hour.

Something about ourselvesWe are a family of four with two young girls (11 and 8) and I am currently on a six month sabbatical looking to have an extended break overseas with the family.
My background is working in brand consultancy for a multi-national and my wife has a background in marketing communications.
We have travelled extensively and want our children to do the same. My brother and his family are in Holland and we are considering a trip to Europe in September/October 2009. We do not smoke and will treat your home with the same respect we give our own.
