Description of our house
My apartment was renovated in 2008! It has newly stripped, polished floorboards, a new bathroom and wc and a new kitchen. It has a fantastic balcony leading from the lounge with mountain views. To the back is a beautiful back garden with a covered BBQ area, including an outdoor heater for winter. (Although I have 3 bedrooms, I only have beds in 2 of them - double beds.) This is why I've stated the apartment is only suitable for 4 people.

Our neighborhoodMy beautiful home is only 50m from the ocean and 150m from Flynns Beach - one of Port Macquaries best loved patrolled beach. Walking into town along the coastal path takes about 20 minutes and the views are breathtaking! On the coastal path into town you're likely to see a few dolphins along the way and you might choose to stop and use one of the coastal BBQ's at a cost of $1 for gas!
Port Macquarie is a 50 min flight from Sydney or a 4 hour drive by car. It is one of the most popular holiday destinations in NSW. The busiest time of year in Port is the summer holiday months of January and February where absolutely everywhere is booked out. The town is very geared towards tourism with lots of al-fresco dining and outdoor activities, especailly those based in or around the ocean - jet-skiing, para-gliding, BBQ boats etc. etc.
Whales can be seen migrating along the coast between May and November - its awesome. And if you want to get closer, take one of the local whale-watching tours.
There aren't many night-clubs in Port. If you're a true party animal then Port probably isn't for you. If on the otherhand, you enjoy 'laid-back, and easy-going' in tropical paradise, this could be the place for you. Get in touch.

Something about ourselvesHi my name's Sarah. I'me originally from England but moved to Sydney 8 years ago. I moved to Port 3 months ago because I have 2 sisters living here. I'm a pimary school teacher which is why I have so many holidays to take (without much money to take them :-) I teach on a casual basis, so I'm fairly flexible on the dates I included - again, get in touch if you're interested.
I'm not sure if I would travel by myself, or have a friend accompany me. What I can assure you is that I'd take care of your home like it were my own, and hope you would do like wise. Hope to hear from you soon.
