Tyalgum a lovely little village that is 15 minutes from Murwillumbah in the Tweed Valley in NSW. It is approximately 45 minutes from the Gold Coast airport and about 1 hour from Byron Bay. Tyalgum is in the Caldera which is located inside an old volcano. It boasts an International Music Festival every September which is world renowned. We have a creek close by for swimming to add to your Australian country experience.
Something about ourselves
We are a middle aged couple who love to travel the world and as such have done several exchanges in Bournemouth, London, Paris, Netherlands, Berlin, Scotland, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney a few times. My name is John, and I am a retired ex military officer and my wife, Kim, is an administration officer. We believe exchanging is a great way of becoming immersed in another countries culture. We are very open to all offers and we are very flexible with timing. Ideally we would like to spend a few months in one place to really experience the lifestyle and become part of the community.
