Balmain is a skip across the water from Sydney city & the Opera House. By regular bus it is 10-15 mins to the middle of the city & approx 15 mins by ferry passing under the Harbour Bridge. Balmain is a very popular village built on a peninsular with some great parks with city & water views. The house location is very quiet even though you will be only 3 mins walk to the main street which is lined with cafes, restaurants,& fashion.From the main street there are Sydney Harbour Bridge & city views. There are many beautiful harbourside walks with wonderful water views across to the city & down the inner harbour. Something about ourselves

We are James & Annie, a professional couple in our 50's. We have 2 children away from home. We are heading towards retirement & would like to enjoy some more travel over the next few years.
