We live in a renovated Victorian terrace in Annandale close to Sydney CBD, Darling Harbour and popular inner suburbs Glebe and Balmain. House has 2 bedrooms, one double, one single bedroom/office and double sofa bed in 2nd living area. 2 TV's and lots of books. Use of car (Ford Focus) can be negotiated. House backs onto park with tall gums as outlook and very quiet location. Small low maintenance tropical garden. We also have a holiday house in the Blue Mountains 100km from Sydney and this can be included in the swap. It is close to The Three Sisters and Katoomba Falls.

We are a professional couple (retirement age but still working,no children at home). John has just retired from fulltime lecturing and is doing research at University of NSW and Bronwyn teaches Child Studies at TAFE and thus our holidays must be taken in NSW school holiday period. We don't have pets to allow us more flexibility to travel. We have travelled to Europe, China, India, Japan and Mexico for holidays and work in the past. In general we would like to do house swaps one week in July holiday period and in late December, early to mid January, possibly to New Zealand or Tasmania. We have family in the Noosa area in Queensland and would like to do an exchange in that area. Our house is well placed for Sydney New Year and fireworks. We are new to house exchange and would like to have a phone call/ Skype to get to know fellow "exchangers" and make arrangements. ![]()
