Description of our house
Our home is quite private and in a quiet street, in a semi-rural area called Helensburgh. We have just finished renovating and we now have a large, wood-floored living area and tiled deck. It is a split level home with a new kitchen, bathrooms and very nice views of the bush, our pool and surrounds from our deck. It is a spacious, open planned home which easily accommodates our 3 children. We have 1 queen sized bed and each of the children have singles but the house could accommodate more than just our 5 if you like. We have a slate-based mid-sized pool table, TV’s x 3 and DVD, xbox, 2 computers with broadband, a table-tennis table, a 8m x 4m heated pool and a cubby house. We also have 2 automatic transmission cars for your use.

Our neighborhoodWe are close to everything you need; there’s a free 25m community swimming pool at the end of our street, along with parkland where the local sports are played (Rugby League, Football and cricket) and the shops are 3 minutes walk. It’s a wonderful little community on the outskirts of the Metropolitan area – it’s 50 minutes from the centre of Sydney and ½ hour from Wollongong. We are 7 minutes drive from beautiful Stanwell Park beach and the Royal National Park surrounds the suburb. There are 2 local golf courses within 10 minutes drive and there are plenty of places to take a walk in the bush either locally or a few minutes away by car. The local train station is just 3 minutes drive and services run frequently up and down the coast.

Something about ourselvesWe’re Steven and Jenni and we have 3 children, Tom (15), Brett (13) and Josh (11). We live for our holidays and we especially love travelling overseas but, as anyone with 3 children will appreciate, travelling with that extra child is a financial burden. Since none of the 3 would volunteer to stay at home (and, apparently, the Department of Community Services frowns on that kind of thing) we have to take them with us. We have a wonderful group of friends who, I’m sure, would love to provide you with all the information and guidance you need (although we urge you to ignore what they say about us).
