We are located in a quiet leafy street in the Hills District. Our son and daughter are quite close by if you need them.The neighbours are happy to answer any questions you may have. Local shops selling groceries and takeaway food are only a few minutes walk away. A large shopping complex where you will find major stores, cinemas and world-class restaurants is only 3 minutes by car. A pleasant 15-minute drive will take you to the railway where trains run at 30-minute intervals to Sydney with its famous harbour. On the way to the station you will pass Koala Park where koalas and other native animals and birds can be seen in a beautiful environment. There is also an express city bus every 1/4 hour. You may also enjoy the 1-hour drive to the Blue Mountains, famous for their dramatic scenery, 1930s villages with art and crafts, antiques and eateries. To the east are our famous beaches and dramatic coastal scenery. Sydney is surrounded by National Parks, which are open all the year, with pristine forests and native animals.

We are a retired couple who love to travel. We are experienced home exchangers with 9 enjoyable exchanges to date, and enjoy exploring nature and antiquities. We also enjoy boating, art and dining out with friends. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Rob has both a trades and real estate background. He retired from business 12 years ago and now spends much of his time enjoying our yacht and teaching computing. We have cruised thousands of miles together over many years. Barbara has studied science and art and enjoys teaching art to adults and children and exhibiting her artwork.
