Our home has been beautifully restored to it's original 1930's style with a number of additions to lighten and modernise it. It is a cosy , 2 bedroom attached home. The main bedroom contains a queen sized bed with a bright sunroom/study attached to it. The second bedroom with single bed, and roll away second bed. There are two living rooms one leading out to the back deck and garden where we spend most of our days, the second in the middle of the house is a lovely reading room. We love to cook and have a well set up gas kitchen as well as great barbeque and deck area outside. Laundry facilities are inside the house. There is one bathroom and a second toilet. House can come with car- 5 seater subaru forester AWD, 2008 automatic model . We have cleaners who come once a fortnight during your stay if you like.

The house is situated in a very quiet suburban street only minutes walk to gorgeous Maroubra Beach with its great surfing. Even closer is the lovely Mahon Pool rock pool which is a safe and gentle place for the children. Walk from our house along the coastal walks all the way to Bondi Beach or take the car and you can be there in only 15 minutes. Our home is a wonderful place to spend the summer holidays being so close to a number of beautiful Sydney beaches and the weather and water remain warm and enjoyable from September through to June. In winter enjoy Sydney's great indoor attractions such as our fabulous museums and art galleries.Transport to the centre of Sydney (20 minutes)via bus is also very close by taking you directly to the beautiful Opera House and Harbour. We are located close to the University of NSW, shopping malls, a number of popular golf courses ( we have two sets of clubs for your use) and the airport close by, it is a very convenient location. My husband, David, and I, Sylvia, are both professionals. I teach at university, my husband a software engineer . We have a gorgeous 20 year old son James and a lovely 6 year old Max. We will often travel only with our youngest as James is busy with his own travel plans and University studies. We are experienced house exchangers have had fabulous home exchanges in Switzerland, Germany and around Australia . We love the experiences home exchanging provides and can't imagine travelling any other way again! We have met wonderful people through home exchanges who we still maintain contact with years later.
